Our school is located within a village where the local faith community has been part of the weft and warp of the village history. As a school we are part of that village community and also part of the rich tradition that is the Church of England. Christianity is the main faith studied as a Church school and 50% of RE teaching time allocated will be for the teaching of Christianity.

RE at Cranford Primary School encourages children to value and question their own opinions, whilst developing respect and sensitivity for the views of others.  It will provide children with an understanding of some of the major faiths practiced in the world today, helping to prepare them for life within a global community.

To find out more about the teaching and leanring of RE in our school, please visit our policies page to read our Religious Education Policy, our Collective Worship Policy and to also read the Church of England's Statement of Entitlement in relation to Collective Worship.
